Greenwich Community Food Initiative (GCFI)
Greenwich Community Food Initiative, part of the Healthy Greenwich Network,
was established in 2002 in response to increasing demand for local action to address poor food access in
Greenwich. The project builds on the success of the Ferrier Food Co-op and continues the successful

CDA. There are four areas of work :
- Growing Greenwich
- Street based fruit and vegetables markets stalls – please visit page on

- Community Cookery Clubs & Tutor Training lead by
Greenwich Teaching Primary Care Trust, but
they are also delivered as part of the Good Food Training for London.
