British Universal Talent Development Association

The British Universal Talent Development Association (BUTDA) is an arts organisation that focuses on providing training for young people with a view to gaining employment within the industry. BUTDA comprises community activists with a background in music such as Jamaican reggae artist King Roy Shirley and aims to enhance social welfare within London’s disadvantaged areas and disaffected young people.

GCDA successfully assisted fund-raising applications to both The Arts Council, the national development agency for the arts in England, distributing public money from Government and the National Lottery and Awards for All, a Lottery grants scheme for local communities in the UK.

For more information please visit the King Roy Shirley website at www.kingroyshirley.net or email roisinrobertson@yahoo.co.uk.
